What the site stores
| Technology | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHP session cookie | Keeps you signed in, protects forms and supports account security. | Normally until the browser session ends, subject to secure server-side session controls. | Strictly necessary |
certichecker-theme local storage | Remembers whether you selected the light or dark theme. | Until you clear browser storage or change the preference. | User-interface preference |
| Stripe checkout or billing technology | Supports secure payment and subscription-management pages operated by Stripe. | Set and controlled by Stripe when you use its pages. | Payment and security |
Consent and analytics
CertiChecker does not currently set advertising or audience-measurement cookies on its own pages. Essential security cookies do not require opt-in consent, but we disclose them here. The theme preference is stored only when needed to remember your choice.
If analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential tracking are introduced, CertiChecker must update this notice and obtain valid consent before those technologies are activated.
How to control storage
You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie will prevent login and other secure account functions from working. You can reset the theme preference by clearing site data.
