What a public check tells you

1

Match the record

Compare the holder, certificate, issuer, date and identifier with the document supplied.

2

Read the status

See whether the issuer-managed record is marked valid, expired or revoked.

3

Use judgement

Consider the result alongside role requirements and any checks your organisation must perform.

Know what you are looking at

Issuer-created certificate records and holder-uploaded Learning Passport content are not interchangeable. CertiChecker labels review and status information, but a public result does not replace regulated, identity or right-to-work checks where those are required.

  • No account required for public certificate verification
  • Records remain checkable after an issuer subscription ends
  • Expired and revoked states remain visible rather than disappearing
  • Contact CertiChecker if a result appears inconsistent or unsafe

Have a certificate to check?

Open the verification page and enter the certificate details supplied by the holder or scan its CertiChecker QR code.
